CHARLOTTE, NC — Saturday, Nov. 18 is National Adoption Day, and DoubleClick Adoptions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting adoption agencies with families, will celebrate by offering free one-year memberships to all families who register on their site on Nov. 18. DoubleClick will also post a short documentary about the adoption process, “New Love, New Life,” on their website on Nov. 18.

This year, DoubleClick created successful agency matches for 2,345 families. The organization’s leaders hope their participation in National Adoption Day will facilitate more connections in the upcoming year, and they encourage anyone interested in adopting to use the free registration period to find out more about adoption in general, said Welsh. The free membership link will be posted on the front page of the website on National Adoption Day, and new members will have access to the extensive database of member agencies and orphanages compiled over DoubleClick’s five years of operation.
